P.5 Making a Tornado in a Bottle

This experiment was a great way to show students how tornados are formed and how the swirling action of water in a bottle creates a vortex. Students were amazed by the formation of a tornado in their bottles and they enjoyed the experiment about extreme weather science.

'Ahhh! A tornado in a bottle.'	'Amazing! Tornado in a bottle.'	'We fill the bottle with 3 parts of water and add food colouring.'
